New mufflers for the chevelle and backroad test run.
It's time to start working on the chevelle and I'm starting with the exhaust. I added new flowmaster mufflers, fix a couple problems that popped up, and go for a test run on the backroads.

Just a quick edit that I did on the clips I took at Shadyside. I thought this turned out pretty neat considering the cars that were running.

SEGA was at Shadyside Dragway for some awesome racing. These are period correct cars running some pretty fast times. Some of the best racing I've seen in a long time!

I changed out the carburetor on the C10. The original Rochester was having major problems even after rebuilding. I replaced it with a Carter YF.

I found some go pro videos that I thought I had lost years ago. I've never been able to get any decent audio of the 57s exhaust so I put music over it instead of wind noise. I really line how a lot of these shots came out after editing!

This is a second angle that my friend took of the Thanksgiving burnout. Cant believe the skinnies on the back lasted like they did.
Thanksgiving tire roast!

I figured instead of a turkey, we'd cook up a set of skinny front runners I've had sitting around for years. I have no plan of using them, so what better way to get rid of them. Caught 3rd gear on the first burnout and was surprised to see a ton of tire left so I had to do another.
Running the chevelle after fixing the oil leak.

I finally fixed the leak! Hopefully. Took the car on a short trip to the grocery store to make sure it's not gonna implode.

I got the chevelle back on the road only to be fighting an oil leak since day one. I'm hoping I can finally fix it once and for all with the most sketchy setup I've ever been in.
Getting the chevelle back on the road.

I have had my car off the road for about 5 years now and it's time to change that . I started redoing the engine bay about 2 years ago and that project got put on hold for the last 2 years. I'm getting the car up and running as fast as possible to get it moved out of the storage unit and back to driving. I'm doing this as cheap as possible and using as many parts that I have laying around as I ...

My first 4 dr hard top bring a smile 😂 at 72 still love my 57 . James
There is something about a big block triple 5, done in tuxedo black with the white rear fin insert…I’m telling you, I don’t think there’s anything that screams Cool American Muscle, quite like that. Gorgeous car.
Love the sound of a chevy V8
Shrifter, part number???
Cool car, but the exhaust note sounds like a bunch of snare drums. Sorry, not good.
Smiles per gallon.
Beautiful car
One pass down the quarter mile. The tank is dry.😮😮
It sounds like a couple of silverbacks wrestling in there!
Bought not built !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got enough power to pass everything on the highway except a gas station.
it would not last 5 mins here in the UK......it would be a target for someone to collied with it .....insurance claim.....classic cars are big money rollers here....or....the poilce would stop you and claim it unsafe for british roads.....result.....confiscated.....then sent to the crusher
Again wow

632s now run on pump gas💀💪🏾
My grandmother had one of these beauties when I was about 3-4. Funny the things you remember. Same color. She had a heavy foot as well.
Never knew they made a 632 block. Damn that's big.
I bet he’s a joy to his neighbors.
Beautiful car. Those rims and low profile tires need to go though.
The rough idle is AWESOME!!!!!
This is what 2 miles to the gallon looks like and I love it !

Sounds like God is playing the snare drum...
Filling I Am Inside Driving So Proud Of It Ya
No Word To Say As His So Beautyful
Scrap the ugly wagon wheels and thin tires on it, they ruin the looks of the car.
I had to look up how much HP this is 😳 my goodness!! I'll copy-paste my findings. Here are the headlines. A naturally aspirated V8 engine with a displacement of 632 cubic inches (10.4 L). It produces 1,004 hp and 876 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane fuel and a redline of 7,000 rpms.
Back when fenders was another name for big ass benches
Showed this to my wife, she said is has an awful exhaust leak. Anyone know a good divorce attorney in the Bakersfield area?
The cam duration sounds great in THX!!!!
Super clean 57 One of the best ones I seen
Nice Car. Was born that year n I’m only 66. You say it’s 73 yrs etc 🤔🧐. You like 2 Stretch things some huhhhh🤣
Healthy.
Are you keeping it? TIts perfect. What other car did you have in your garage? 👍❤the sound.
I remember i was there
Did u notice something in the 5min and 30 seconds line under the carburetor? There was a spark going from the manifold to the motor mount? Check it out.
If im not mistaken about stock standard v8 being a 262, Provided that was born with the v8, That's a displacement increase of 141%. Meaning, almost two and a half times as much engine as original.
What a beautiful beast 😍👍
Beautiful !!!!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
